An urban kindergarten that converses with the changing light and breeze across seasons and time of day, experienced with open spaces distributed on floors integrated with greens with an amphitheatre at the ground level as an anchor. After a decade of use, the building originally designed as basement + 2 floors as a composite load-bearing structure, was expanded to thrice it’s existing capacity, and the challenge was to retain the sense of place-making that was the conceptual mooring of the original.
