A tight twin residence in dense urban fabric that utilises its three free setbacks to create
a court, a waterbody and a backyard. The house is designed as a load bearing shell with a framed central axis, that anchors the air cooling shaft and light well, cooling the interiors with fresh air and sunlight. In order to preserve the common structural wall of the twin, the house is cantilevered
across a staircase. The second floor houses an independent bedroom, study and garden, connected vertically to the lower floors through the inclined light well.
